Analisis Desain Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Domestik (IPALD) Komunal Di Rt. 04 Desa Murung Kenanga, Kecamatan Martapura, Kabupaten Banjar, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan

Communal domestic wastewater treatment plants (IPALD) are facilities used by the public to treat household wastewater. This study analyzed the existing communal IPALD located in Murung Kenanga Village, Banjar Regency, which is situated in a delta area of the Martapura River. The analysis results were then compared with an IPALD design based on wastewater treatment planning theory. The results show that the existing IPALD design for the equalization tank, sedimentation tank, and anaerobic filter meets the community’s needs, while the Inlet and Outlet tanks do not. Although the sedimentation tank and anaerobic filter meet the required capacity, their construction is oversized and exceeds community needs. The existing IPALD consists of an Inlet tank, equalization tank, sedimentation tank, anaerobic filter, and Outlet tank with storage volumes of 0.61 cm³, 0.60 cm³, 7.78 cm³, 11.87 cm³, and 0.17 cm³, respectively. The theoretical IPALD design consists of an Inlet tank, equalization tank, sedimentation tank, anaerobic filter, and Outlet tank with storage volumes of 0.68 cm³, 0.56 cm³, 0.28 cm³, 0.45 cm³, and 0.20 cm³, respectively
